It’s time to make livestock management simpler.
Our roots are in British manufacturing and hands-on farming experience, and that combination drives everything we make. We focus on practical design, solid build quality and equipment that stands up to real farm and ranch conditions.
Our equipment is tried and tested across the UK from small family farms to large operations. Now we’re bringing that same proven quality to overseas markets. We’re built on one principle: straightforward kit that delivers reliable solutions, making handling livestock faster, safer and more efficient, helping you get the job done.
“I have worked for years to improve the soil health and carrying capacity of land where we run cattle. Rotational grazing is an integral part of this. The Rappa system is a game changer in the ability to quickly put up and take down electric fences.”
Casey Fajkus, Texas, USA
“We have long been interested in regenerative agriculture and rotational grazing. We’re looking forward to introducing Rappa into our area as a much quicker and more efficient way of fencing.”
Jamie Vandenberg, Alberta, Canada

Our story
The beginning
1970s
Rappa began as a family-run engineering business in rural England, rooted in hands-on farming and practical problem solving. Early designs focused on making everyday farm jobs quicker and easier.
Innovation in fencing
1980s–1990s
The development of Rappa electric fencing machines transformed the way temporary fencing was handled, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency in the field. These machines quickly became trusted tools on UK farms.
Expanding into livestock handling
2000s
Building on decades of field experience, Rappa expanded into mobile sheep handling and weighing systems, applying the same principles of practical design, modularity and ease of use.
Trusted worldwide
Today
Still designed and built in the UK, Rappa equipment is now used by farmers and ranchers around the world. While the range has grown, the approach remains unchanged: straightforward, reliable systems that stand up to real working conditions.
